  • Connecting 2 4 ohm speakers in parallel will result in a 2-ohm load on the head unit. If you are going to connect 2 speakers for 1 channel, you will have to connect 4 speakers for 2 channels.

  • Your 4 speakers are connected to 2 channels and the remaining 2 can be connected to the remaining 2 channels. Currently, connected 6 speakers for 4 channels.

  • 2 speakers connected to 2 channels is good for the condition of your amplifier. However, 4 speakers connected to 2 channels will continuously drive 2 ohms into 2 channels when operating at full volume.

  • 2 channels will make your stereo system hot due to double load. If you don’t play music very loudly, it may not damage your stereo too much. But if you keep listening, for a very short period of time, to music at high volume, it’s still safe.
